Agreement to These Terms
I am Annalise Baumgardt, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in solo private practice, licensed in New York, Massachusetts, and Florida. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of my website, (the "Website").
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms and to my Website Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
For General Information Only
The content on the Website, including articles, blog posts, resources, and descriptions of my services, is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for individualized care from a qualified mental health or medical professional.
Using the Website, reading its content, or contacting me through it does not create a therapist-client relationship. That relationship begins only after we have both agreed to work together and you have completed my intake and informed consent paperwork.
Please do not delay seeking professional help, or disregard advice from your own providers, because of something you read on the Website.
Not for Emergencies
The Website, its contact form, and my email are not monitored around the clock, and I may not see your message right away. Please do not use them to reach me in a crisis.

Licensure and Where I Can Provide Services
I hold active LCSW licenses in New York 098014, Massachusetts LICSW1121601, and telehealth provider registration in Florida TPSW7355. Licensing laws generally require that you be physically located in a state where I am licensed at the time of each session, including telehealth sessions.
For that reason, I can provide clinical services only to people who are located in New York, Massachusetts, or Florida when we meet. I may ask you to confirm your location before or during sessions. If you are traveling or relocating, please let me know so we can plan for continuity of care. Content on the Website is not an offer to provide services in any other state or country.
Communications and Privacy
The Website's contact form and standard email are not designed for confidential clinical communication, and I cannot guarantee their security. When you first reach out, please share only your contact information and a brief reason for your inquiry. By sending me a message through the Website, you accept these risks.
How I collect, use, and protect information submitted through the Website is explained in my Website Privacy Policy. Clinical information about my clients is governed by my Notice of Privacy Practices.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

Clinical services I provide remain subject to the laws and licensing rules of the state where you are located during those services.

Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect.
